Dhaka, Nov. 10 -- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been invited to attend a discussion to be organised marking the 50th anniversary of "National Revolution and Solidarity Day,".

BNP central publicity secretary and Tangail-5 constituency candidate in the upcoming parliamentary polls Sultan Salauddin Tuku handed over an invitation letter to the former prime minister on Sunday night.

Tuku said he met the BNP Chairperson at her Gulshan residence Firoza following instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and handed over the invitation letter to her.
