Dhaka, April 11 -- The bail hearing of 263 BDR members in the case filed under the Explosives Act related to the BDR mutiny at Pilkhana in the capital has been postponed once again.
The hearing and witness testimony were scheduled for Thursday at Dhaka Special Tribunal-2, presided over by Judge Md. Ibrahim Mia.
However, as the judge was unwell, the court rescheduled the hearing for May 8, confirmed defense lawyer Advocate Parvez Hossain.
He said, "Today was set for the hearing of bail applications and witness testimonies for the 263 accused BDR members in the Explosives Act case stemming from the mutiny. But like before, the judge's illness led to another postponement."
This is now the fourth time the court has deferred the bail order. ...
