Dhaka, Oct. 29 -- Bangladesh Youth Cricket team beat Afghanistan Youth Cricket team by five runs (according to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern Method) in their first one-day match at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura on Tuesday.

Electing to bat first, Afghanistan piled up a fighting 265 for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Later, Bangladesh had a target of 226 to win in 46 overs due to bad light and Bangladesh scored 231 for the loss of four wickets in 46 overs and won the match.
