Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- After long paws of seven years, Bangladeshi workers have once again set foot on the soil of oil-rich Iraq.
The first group of Bangladeshi workers arrived at Baghdad International Airport on Thursday night, where they were received with greetings and congratulations by Bangladesh Embassy officials Tanvir Ahmed and Rezaul Karim, on behalf of Ambassador Major General (Retd.) Md. Maksudul Haque.
Bangladeshi expatriate workers in Iraq-Akash Bepari, Shawon Sarker, Md. Iman Hasan, Md. Nazrul Bepari, Tofayel, Raihan Bepari, and Amir Hossain-confirmed the matter on Friday, on behalf of recruiting agency Al Rotan (Pvt.) Ltd.
