Dhaka, Feb. 23 -- Bangladesh National Kabaddi took 1-0 lead in the five-match Kabaddi Test Series when they beat visiting Nepal Kabaddi team by 53-29 points in the first match held on Paltan ground adjoining the national stadium on Saturday.
The winners' led the first half by 28-11 points. The remaining matches of the series will be played on February 23, 25, 26 and 28 at the same venue.
Earlier, Youth and Sports Secretary Rezaul Maksud Jahedi formally inaugurated the test series as the chief guest while National Sports Council Secretary Aminul Islam was present as special guest.
