Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Wednesday called Bangladesh's economic recovery over the past six months a "miracle," highlighting the nation's rapid turnaround.

He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the "DJFB Talk," organised by the Development Journalists Forum of Bangladesh (DJFB) at the NEC conference room in the city on Wednesday.

"Before the interim government took charge, the country's economy had reached a point where it could have collapsed at any moment. Restoring discipline in the energy sector needed as there has been state-sponsored looting in this sector." he said.
