Dhaka, June 24 -- Bangladesh's apparel exports to the European Union (EU) have surged to $8.07 billion during the January-April period of 2025 up from $6.51 billion during the same period in 2024.
The country's readymade garment exports in the same period grew by 23.98 per cent, supported by a strong 19.71 per cent increase in volume. Additionally, there was a 3.57 per cent increase in unit price, showcasing balanced growth in export amount, volume, and price in the EU market.
