Dhaka, Nov. 8 -- Bangladesh has called for adequate and predictable financial resources, along with a strong international partnership, to ensure inclusive social development that leaves no one behind.

Bangladesh made the call as an inter-ministerial delegation attended the three-day Second World Summit for Social Development, which concluded on Friday in Doha, Qatar, according to a release from the Ministry of Social Welfare.

In a statement, Social Welfare Secretary Dr Mohammad Abu Yusuf, leader of the Bangladesh delegation, highlighted the country's people-centered development model, emphasizing social justice, inclusion, and innovations such as microcredit and social business initiatives.
