Dhaka, May 9 -- Bangladesh (BD) Women's Emerging team made a disappointing start to the three-match one-day series against South Africa (SA), losing the first game by five wickets at Bir Shreshtha Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday.

Put into bat first, Bangladesh were bowled out for a meager 179 in 47.5 overs, a total that South African Women's Emerging team overhauled in 45.5 overs by reaching 180-5.

The Bangladesh Emerging team was formed mostly with the national players but they put a disappointing performance to dig the graveyards.
