Dhaka, Aug. 23 -- Bangladesh suffered a 2-0 goal defeat to strong India in the big match of four-nation South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-17 Women's Championship held at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu on Friday.

It was the second successive victory for India after thrashing Nepal 7-0 in the opening match of the tournament while Bangladesh suffered their first defeat after beating host Bhutan 3-1.

With the win, India improved their tally with six points from two matches, while Bangladesh remained at their previous collection of three points playing the same number of matches.
