Dhaka, Sept. 8 -- Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, has instructed that the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations be conducted strictly according to the annual calendar to maintain transparency and integrity.

The directive came during a meeting with officials of the Public Service Commission (PSC) at the State Guest House, Jamuna, on Sunday afternoon.

"The BCS exam is the entry point for those who will eventually run the government. If there is any irregularity at this entry point, it affects the entire system," the Chief Adviser said.

"Existing problems and crises must be addressed responsibly, and necessary reforms should be implemented for the benefit of future administrators."
