Dhaka, May 28 -- The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Governing Council has decided to share the ticket revenue with the franchises who have complied with player payment obligations last season.

The decision was taken during a BPL Governing Council meeting yesterday. "Following a comprehensive review of financial statements and supporting payment documentation submitted by participating franchises, the Governing Council has agreed in principle to allocate a portion of ticket sales revenue to franchises that have demonstrated compliance with player payment obligations," the BCB said in a press release on Tuesday.
