Dhaka, Dec. 22 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is set to organise a small-scale opening ceremony for the inauguration of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in Sylhet on December 26.

Cultural programmes will be held either before the start of the match or between the two matches, with performances by some popular bands expected.

Due to the opening ceremony, changes have been made to the match schedule on the opening day.

According to the previous schedule, the match between Sylhet Titans and Rajshahi Warriors was set to begin at 2 PM. However, the match will now start at 3pm. Additionally, a 20-minute break will be kept between the two innings.
