Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to hold its election in the first week of October.BCB director and Cricket Operations Committee Chairman Nazmul Abedin Fahim confirmed the news after the 21st Board Meeting was held in Sylhet on Monday.
"We have taken a decision to hold the election in the first week of October but the specific date of the cricket body will be announced by the Election Commission," Fahim told the reporters in Sylhet.
The Election Commission has not yet been officially formed but Fahim said everything will be finalized within a couple of days.
