Dhaka, July 11 -- The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to expand its list of venues for the upcoming season, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) planning to introduce at least one additional host city.Traditionally limited to a few locations, this marks the first formal step toward spreading the tournament across the country.

In the earlier editions of the BPL, matches were hosted only at two venues: the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital's Mirpur and the Bir Shreshtho Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.

Later, the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium was added to the rotation. Now, BCB aims to increase fan engagement by including a fourth venue.
