Dhaka, Jan. 5 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Monday the 24-member preliminary squad of Bangladesh for the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series against West Indies. Besides, a 20-member Test squad was announced for the ensuing two-match Test series. Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been included in the both squads.
Veteran Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has not been included in the squad. Experienced Mahmudullah Riyad has not been recruited in the Test squad.
A total of five new cricketers have been included in the squad. They are: Shoriful Islam, Parvez Hossain Emon, Nasum Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud and Mahadi Hasan.
