Brigadier General SM Lutfar Rahman joined as the 5th Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) in Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore. He assumed the charge of the Vice Chancellor through a simple ceremony on 21 July 2025. He replaced the former Vice Chancellor Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman.University Treasurer Colonel Md.
