Dhaka, Nov. 15 -- The Bangladesh Government has approved a new project named 'Basic Self-Defence Training for Youths. The tenure of project is three-year. The Ministry of Youth and Sports will execute the project for 8,850 youths including 6oo young women.
The project will run through Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP), which is situated in Savar. The expenditure of the project has been estimated at Taka 27.28 crore.The project was finally approved by also Ministry of Planning on Thursday.
The initiative will reach young people from all 64 districts, ensuring wide access to self-defence training opportunities, according to the project document.
