Dhaka, Jan. 28 -- Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh have been billed in Group-D of AFC Cup. The other teams of Group-D are: ATK Mohan Bagan of India, Maziya S& RC of Maldives and a play-off winner.
The draw ceremony of the group of AFC Cup was held on Wednesday.
Reigning champions Bashundhara Kings AFC Cup campaign was came to an end after playing a match last year. Banshundhara Kings, TC Sports of Maldives, Maziya S& RC of Maldives, Chennai FC were in Group-E. Bashundhara Kings thrashed TC Sports of Maldives by 5-1 goals on March 11, but rest of the matches of Group-E were abandoned due to coaronavirus pandemic.
It may be mentioned that a total of six teams from South Asia zone will battle for the single play-off place in Group-D.
