Dhaka, Jan. 11 -- Bashundhara Kings became champions in the Walton Federation Cup Football beating Saif Sporting Club by a solitary goal in the final at the flood-lit Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.

The first half was locked 0-0

After a barren first half, Bashundhra's Argentine recruit Raul Oscar Besera got a through pass from his Brazilian teammate Robson and Besera scored the all-important goal by a left-footer placing shot in the 52nd minute of the match.

In the 69th minute Saif Sporting Club's Negerian recruit Keneth struck a power-packed shot but Bashundhara's goalie Anisur Rahman saved the shot at the cost of a corner.

Earlier, Saif Sporting Club's Rahmat Mia hit a sudden shot but it was saved by Bashundhra's custodian A...
