Dhaka, May 25 -- Barrister Kazi Rehan Nabi died last Saturday in Dhaka while undergoing treatment at a local hospital. He was 54. He was a prominent lawyer and the son of the late Barrister Kazi Shahidun Nabi, former Attorney General of Bangladesh. He is survived by his wife and two children.

His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at 11am in the High Court premises, and the second one took place at the Dhanmondi Eidgah ground where his relatives, colleagues, friends and well-wishers attended the funeral and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.

Following the Janaza, he was laid to rest at Banani graveyard.
