Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- Fortune Barishal retained the title of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket after defeating Chittagong Kings by three wickets in the final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital's Mirpur on Friday.

Chasing Chittagong's fighting total of 194 for the loss of three wickets in the allotted 20 overs, Barishal cruised into the victory target making 195 for the loss of seven wickets when they had just three balls to spare.

Fortune Barishal made a solid start with two openers Tamim Iqbal and Towhid Hridoy scored together 76 runs for the opening partnership before Tamim Iqbal was caught by Khaled Ahmed off Shoriful Islam.
