Dhaka, May 23 -- A fire broke out at the Banani residence of prominent singer and composer Bappa Mazumder on Thursday morning but the artiste and his family escaped unharmed.According to Bappa, the fire originated from the ground floor of the building due to an electrical wiring issue and quickly spread toward the upper floors.Sharing the harrowing experience on social media, Bappa wrote on Facebook: "Just got saved from a fire in our building on 2nd floor (we live on the 3rd floor) due to electrical wire issues.
