Dhaka, July 8 -- Under the refinancing scheme of Bangladesh Bank, open loans have been distributed among marginal customers in Chapainawabganj recently. On this occasion, an Open Loan Disbursement Program was organized under Tk 750 crore revolving refinancing scheme for marginal/landless farmers, low-income professionals, school banking account holders and small businessmen with accounts of Tk 10/50/100. Bank Asia PLC organized the event as the lead bank, and other scheduled banks operating in the district, participated collectively.
