Dhaka, June 26 -- Bangladesh National Women's Football team, led by Afeida Khandaker, reached safely in Yangon on Wednesday to take part in the AFC Women's Asian Cup Australia 2026 (qualifiers) scheduled to be held from June 29 to July 5 in Yangon, Myanmar.

The team is currently staying at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel. In the afternoon, the women's booters took part in a light stretching session at the hotel gym to refresh and recover following the long journey from Dhaka to Bangkok and onward to Yangon, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation.
