Dhaka, Jan. 29 -- Bangladesh Under-19 Women's Cricket team defeated West Indies (WI) Under-19 Women's Cricket team by 10 wickets in their last match of the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup (WC) at Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia on Tuesday. The match was curtailed seven overs due to rain.
Chasing West Indies women's paltry total of 54 for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 13 overs, Bangladesh women sailed home making 55 for the loss of none when they had 25 balls to spare.Opener Juairiya Ferdous and Fahomida Choya guided their team to anchor the victory target putting together 49 runs for the unbroken opening stand.
Mrs Extra added 16 runs to Bangladesh total.
