Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- "If there will be no long gap in local hockey competition, Bangladesh will play in World Cup Hockey", said Amirul Islam. Amirul spoke to this Reporter over telephone on Wednesday.

Amirul said, " I started my hockey carrier after taking part in the School Hockey Competition in 2015. Then, I participated in the trial, organised by Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) in 2016, I was allowed in that Test and I became a student of BKSP. After passing my HSC examination, I have admitted in Dhaka University. My subject is Information Science and Library Management. I have finished my two semesters in that subject."
