Dhaka, May 13 -- Bangladesh, one of the world's leading contributors to United Nations peacekeeping missions, is set to participate in the upcoming UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Meeting, scheduled to begin on Tuesday in Berlin, Germany.

Foreign Affairs Adviser to the interim government, Md Touhid Hossain, departed from Dhaka on Monday morning to represent Bangladesh at the high-level two-day conference. He will lead the country's delegation at the event, which runs from May 13 - 14.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministerial meeting will bring together leaders and representatives from UN member states to deliberate on the future of global peacekeeping and reinforce collective commitments.
