Dhaka, Aug. 31 -- Bangladesh bounced back from their previous defeat to beat Chinese Taipei 8-3 in their second Pool B match of the eight-team Men's Asia Cup Hockey at Bihar Sports University Hockey Stadium in Rajgir, India, on Saturday.

The Tigers took an early lead when Md Abdullah scored a field goal in the 4th minute. However, the lead was short-lived as Tsung-Yu equalized for Chinese Taipei in the 10th minute. In the second quarter, Tsung-Yu scored his second goal from a penalty corner in the 18th minute to give Taipei the lead, but Bangladesh responded strongly when Abdullah netted his second field goal in the 26th minute.
