Dhaka, July 11 -- Bangladesh have slipped one step down to 184th in the latest FIFA rankings published on Thursday.

World champions Argentina retained their top position in the rankings.

Bangladesh played two matches in the June window. The Jamal Bhuyan and Co. beat Bhutan 2-0 in the friendly match and later they lost 1-2 to Singapore in their crucial home match of the Asian Cup Qualifiers. If Bangladesh could have won against Singapore, it would have had a positive impact on the rankings.

Among the another Asian courtiers, India slipped six steps to 133rd, Maldives fell down seven steps to 171st, Nepal slipped one step to 176th, Bhutan fell down four steps to 186th and Pakistan slipped three steps to 201st.
