Dhaka, June 1 -- Bangladesh's downward spiral in international cricket continues as the team has dropped to 10th place in the latest ICC T20I rankings, following consecutive series defeats to the UAE and Pakistan.

According to the updated rankings published by the ICC on May 30, Bangladesh slipped one spot from 9th to 10th after losing four T20Is in a row, including the 2-1 series loss to the UAE in Sharjah and two back-to-back defeats against Pakistan in Lahore.

This losing streak cost Litton Das's team 5 rating points, bringing their total down from 225 to 220. Taking advantage of this slide, Afghanistan, with 223 rating points, leapfrogged Bangladesh to move into 9th place.
