Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on Monday emphasised Bangladesh's interest in fostering "deeper cooperation" with Oman in the energy sector. He also called for a reliable guarantee of energy supply from the Middle Eastern nation to support Bangladesh's growing energy needs.

On the sidelines of the 8th Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) in Muscat, the foreign affairs adviser met with Foreign Minister of Oman Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and discussed various issues of mutual interests.
