Dhaka, Nov. 18 -- Bangladesh made winning start in the 2nd Women's Kabaddi World Cup beating Uganda by 42-22 points held at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Monday.
Bangladesh stretched the first period of play as they took a narrow 14-12 lead at the breather.A packed gallery witnessed the match immediately after a vibrant opening ceremony. Fans filled the arena, chanting "Bangladesh! Bangladesh!" as they cheered on Rupali, Smriti and their teammates to a convincing victory.
