Dhaka, Nov. 13 -- Bangladesh have raised hopes for their best result yet at the Teer 24th Asian Archery Championships 2025, as the team of Bonna Akter and Himu Bachhar advanced to the final of the compound mixed event.
In one of the two semifinals at the National Stadium on Wednesday, Bangladesh defeated their South Korean counterparts 158-153 (39-37, 39-38, 40-39, 40-39).
Bangladesh began their elimination round campaign with a 154-148 victory over Bhutan. In the quarter-finals, they faced Iran, where the match ended 154-154 before the hosts secured a thrilling 19-18 win in the tiebreaker.
