Dhaka, Aug. 31 -- Bangladesh shrugged off their previous match defeat as they beat Chinese Taipei by 8-3 goals in their second pool B match of the eight-team Men's Asia Cup Hockey held at Bihar Sports University Hockey Stadium in Rajgir, India on Saturday.

Bangladesh took the lead early through a field goal when Md Abdullah opened an account for Bangladesh in the 4th minute, but the lead lasted for few minutes when Tsung-Yu restored the parity for Chinese Taipei also from a field goal in the 10th minute of the match.
