Dhaka, May 13 -- Bangladesh and Denmark have expressed a strong commitment to deepening bilateral ties across various sectors, with a focus on political cooperation, trade, investment, climate change, and renewable energy.

The two countries expressed it during the third round of political consultations in Dhaka on Monday, seeking to enhance their relationship built on shared values and mutual respect, Foreign Ministry said.

The consultations were co-chaired by Md Abul Hasan Mridha, Director General of Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Thomas Lund-Sorensen, Director General for Asia, Oceania, Latin America, and the Caribbean at Denmark's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
