Dhaka, Nov. 22 -- Top leaders of Bangladesh and Bhutan at a bilateral meeting here today discussed strengthening trade and economic cooperation and a plan to formally launch discussions on a bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) between the two countries.

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and visiting Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Tobgay led their respective sides at the meeting at the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) in the city's Tejgaon area this afternoon, said Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a wide range of issues covering the entire spectrum of Bangladesh-Bhutan relations, including trade, energy, education, tourism, internet cooperation, transport, healthcare, environment, water resou...
