Dhaka, April 22 -- Sheikhbari's trusted engineer Md. Rezaul Islam, who won the IEB election under the banner of Bangabandhu Prakaushi Parishad, has been given additional responsibility of Khulna WASA's 'Khulna Water Supply Project Phase-2'. However, an investigation into corruption allegations is ongoing against him. The same person who formed the investigation committee six months ago hastily gave him additional responsibility of the new project on Sunday (April 20). However, Khulna WASA Managing Director (Additional Responsibility) Hossain Shawkat stated that he was not aware of the investigation.
