Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- Ayub Bachchu Museum will be built in Moghbazar of the capital under the initiative of Ayub Bachchu Foundation.

The museum named 'Ayub Bachchu Museum and Cultural Hub' will be spread over an area of 10 kathas. Various memories of the artiste's personal and musical life will be preserved in this museum.

Ferdous Akhter Chandana, wife of foundation president Ayub Bachchu, said that the implementation of this project is progressing, but it needs sponsorship.

Abdullah Al Masud, the foundation's secretary and a long-time companion of the late Bachchu, said that the museum will house various items associated with the artiste's memories, including the guitar, T-shirt, hat, cap, ring, sunglasses used by Ayub Bachchu.
