Dhaka, Feb. 19 -- Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Prof Dr Asif Nazrul on Tuesday asked the deputy commissioners (DCs) to work with utmost sincerity in keeping law and order situation under control.
"DCs lead the local administration and know well about problems at grassroots. The previous fascist government used such a huge resource of the state to suppress and torture the people and justify their misdeeds," he said, reports BSS.
Asif Nazrul, also adviser for expatriates welfare and overseas employment, said these while talking to reporters after attending the fifth working session of the three-day DC Conference at Osmani Memorial Auditorium here.
