Dhaka, July 25 -- Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday stated an official announcement regarding the 2025 Asia Cup is expected soon, pending the resolution of a few remaining matters with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Speaking to reporters after the first day of the ACC Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Dhaka, Naqvi said the discussions with India are ongoing and positive progress has been made."That will also be announced soon [regarding Asia Cup]," Naqvi said.

"We are in the consolidation with BCCI. We will hopefully resolve it also very soon. We discussed it and we have decided that myself and Aminul bhai [BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul] have some issues resolved and we will get it done ...
