Dhaka, Aug. 29 -- Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman have talked about Rohingya repatriation and defence ties with China during his recent visit and his subsequent meetings with high-ranking officials there.

During the visit, which began on August 20, General Waker-Uz-Zaman held meetings with several senior Chinese military and civilian officials, including Political Commissar General Chen Hui of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

On August 22, the Army Chief was formally welcomed with a Guard of Honour at the PLA Headquarters.

He later paid a courtesy call on General Chen Hui, where discussions covered a range of topics such as strategic cooperation, enhancing people-to-people contact, and China's assistance in the repatriati...
