Dhaka, March 21 -- The government has announced the April 3, 2025 as a general holiday through an executive order aiming to ensure smooth journey of holiday makers during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder said that to ensure smooth movement of the people on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, an executive order has been declared a general holiday on April 3, 2025.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the council of advisers held at the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) on Thursday.
