Bangladesh, Feb. 8 -- A significant election preparatory assembly was held in Gazipur, organised by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP), with the aim of ensuring a free, fair, neutral and peaceful election ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum 2026. The central theme of the gathering was to highlight the force's firm commitment to safeguarding the democratic process through election-time security, professionalism and technology-driven management.
