Dhaka, Nov. 4 -- The week-long 'Annual Art Exhibition' of Dhaka University Sculpture Department began on Sunday at the Zainul Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Dhaka University Treasurer Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest at a function organized at the Osman Jamal Auditorium of the faculty. Later, he presented certificates and awards to 6 artists for the best artworks.
71 artworks by 43 artists are being displayed in the exhibition. 6 artists were awarded for the best artwork.
