Dhaka, Dec. 30 -- Aman Ullah Aman, the candidate nominated by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for Dhaka-2 constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, has filed his nomination papers.
He was previously elected as a member of parliament four times from this constituency.
He formally submitted his nomination papers to Keraniganj Upazila Executive Officer and Assistant Returning Officer Md. Umar Farooq on Monday.
After filing his nomination papers, Aman Ullah Aman said that democracy cannot be established unless the people's voting rights are ensured.
The country's ongoing political crisis can be resolved only through a free, fair and impartial election.
