Dhaka, Nov. 6 -- The team of students from the Computer Science Department of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), named 'Tech Wing,' has won an award in the "Business Services (Student Category)" at the Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Awards 2025.

The team members include Kias Mahmud, Md. Maruf Hossain Munna, and Saida Shakira Akter. Their innovative project, "Hybrid Fraud Shield," uses artificial intelligence to detect and prevent online financial fraud, says a press release.
