Dhaka, Dec. 4 -- Afshana Mimi, a popular actress from the 1990s, has recently come under scrutiny on social media. Over the past two weeks, many people in the entertainment industry have noticed friend requests being sent from a Facebook account named "Afshana Karim Mimi" to artists, media professionals, and acquaintances.

It's not just friend requests-private messages are also being sent via Messenger. The matter was quickly brought to the attention of Afshana Mimi herself. She confirmed to the media that the account is fake. She said, "This is a completely fake ID. I do not use any social media. I don't know who is running it."
