Dhaka, March 21 -- Advocate Nahid Sultana Juthi secured anticipatory bail on Wednesday in a case filed over violence during the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) election.
A High Court bench of Justice Abu Taher and Justice SM Masud Hossain Dolan granted the bail petition and passed the order.
The court also granted bail to Adv Shakila Roushan, Barrister Chowdhury Mousumi Fatema (Kabita) and suspended assistant attorney general Sheikh Jakir Hossain Masud in the same case.
Adv Sheikh Awsafur Rahman Bulu was present on behalf of Juthi.
The state was represented by deputy attorney general KM Masud Rumi.
Adv Juthi is the wife of Jubo League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash.
