Dhaka, March 15 -- Protesting violence and impunity against women, a group of activists led by former DU Shamsunnahar Hall VP Sheikh Tasnim Afroz Emi has been holding a sit-in at Shahbagh for six days with five demands.

However, they claim that the government has yet to provide any assurance or take any initiative in response.

Sheikh Tasnim Afroz Emi stated that the prolonged sit-in has taken a toll on the health of many participants, yet they remain steadfast in their efforts to draw the government's attention to their demands, reports UNB.
